Well…. I suppose he could die before his gladness comes fully to pass. I’m pretty sure that even he realizes he’s mortal, if not precisely as mortal as those of us poor pilgrims who’ve had the misfortune to cross his path.

Renaming the Kennedy Center = one more instance of this man pissing all over institutions he had nothing to do with in order to mark ‘his territory’.
Great minds think alike, yeah? As it happened I was watching “One Battle After Another” when your comment rang the incoming bell.. If you haven’t seen it yet, I gotta say it’s as good as critics are claiming it is. Strangely comforting to know that we’re not the only ones who have a clear understanding of the how of our present lunacy, even though they’re also as puzzled as we are about the why of it. Rejoicing is in order, even if it’s only for the product of those wonderful folks who once brought us Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies.
