My current favorite t-shirt reads, “Futuendi gratia”
Or Futuendi gratis, maybe? The fifth freedom. If our so-called Founding Fathers had been disposed to loosen their stocks a little back in 1789, it might even have become the Second Amendment. (And T. Jefferson wouldn’t have had to resort to the enslaved women at Monticello for a proof of concept.)
